So SAD: Airtel Stopped Weekend

What a bad news! Airtel Weekend Data Plan of 1GB for 100Naira was one of the best data plan, you would run to especially, in the Weekend (Friday till Saturday). It doesn't zap and was a life saviour because it can be accumulated even up to 10GB and more with just a little amount of money. Though, it was not everyone who was eligible to use this data plan but few, who has the opportunity to use the airtel weekend plan can attest and testify that it was indeed a life saviour. However, this Weekend Data Plan was launched on November 2015 and ended on March 2017.

I tried subscribing for this weekend data plan by dialling *474*1# and got a sorry message saying " This plan has been discontinued, dial *141# to select from our bouquet of data plans specially designed for you". So Airtel Weekend Data Plan is gone and who knows if it is the current economic situation of Nigeria that led to the termination.

This was the main data plan that makes me use Airtel sim and I think it's high time i packed it where it belongs. This is a very bad news to all Airtel users especially those who loves to stream, download and Surf the internet with this data plan.
